Abstract

The purpose of this research article is to explore and imply the psychoanalytical thematic study of
an Austrian Neurologist and Founder of Psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud’s concept of ID, EGO
AND SUPEREGO to a short story of Joseph Conrad ‘‘The Secret Sharer.’’ The research paper
further explores that how Freud’s theory helps us to understand the path leading towards the
struggle in self-discovery
